Analysis Scheme:
A classification method based on support vector machine (SVM) is proposed specifically for predicting plant pre-miRNAs. The ability of PlantMiRNAPred to discern real and pseudo pre-miRNAs provides a viable method for discovering new non-homologous plant pre-miRNAs.
